Hi! I am Sibongile Gumbi (Pefile) WK Fund Trustee and WK 1984-86. My challenge is to set up Come Dine with Me evenings. This is a great way to meet with old school friends and catch up on days bygone. I’m inviting three alumns from my class and beyond to a Come Dining experience at my home to enjoy great company, conversations and entertainment around the dinner table.
The Challenge
I challenge you to host your own dinner event with at least one new member in attendance. In the same spirit those attending your come dining event should then host their own event. A condition, is that when you host you have to include in your menu one dish you remember from your WK days. Whether it is cottage pie or jelly ‘n custard, know that toast does not count!
A dinner ticket costs R500pp and this is the donation we ask diners to make to WK. Please use the donation buttons below or above to make your contribution!
In conclusion….food is one of the most basic and universal pleasures of life. In every culture, to share food together is a sign of companionship.
